Im 33 yo, unemployed for 3 years and now would be father, cant?

I am not trying to insult you, Im just making an observation. To me it sounds like you lack hustle, work ethic, and desire to succeed. I have a brother who is very much in the same situation (minus the pending arrival of a child) but he lacks all of these things so I am speaking from a point of perspective. What do I mean by lacks hustle. The willingness to get out there and get after it. If you have no tangible skills learn some. YouTube is a very generous tool that can help you develop tangible skills. If you want to get into automotive mechanic work take a job in a garage sweeping floors and changing tires. From there move to oil changes, then on to diagnostics, then on to wrenching. See, hustle. Start on the ground floor with whatever will put money in your pockets and learn the skills to climb up. Nobody is going to invite you to come sit in the managers office if they dont see that you have hustle. What do I mean by lack of work ethic. Come on, 3 years unemployed. My brother likes to say that there are no jobs, he lives in central Florida. There are no jobs that he is willing to do. Heres an example of work ethic and the point above, hustle. In the 1980s my uncle was a very well paid air traffic controller (ATC). When the ATC union went on strike President Reagan fired them because they were essential personnel in the operations of the U.S. See: Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization (1968) - Wikipedia. My uncle found himself immediately out of a job. With his savings dwindling and two young kids to feed he spent a couple of thousand dollars and bought a used mobile canteen truck. He didnt know a damn thing about the mobile canteen business but he learned. He eventually grew that business into a thriving business with 12 trucks and routes all through the Andover, Mass. area. He sold that business for a 6 figure number and went on to learn an all new skill. He wanted to be an electrician. He took an apprenticeship and learned from the ground up. Starting as a laborer drilling holes in studs, running wire, rough electric etc. Today hes a master electrician. That is what I mean by Work Ethic and Hustle. Desire to succeed. When mixed with the two previous points are a recipe for success. Nearly two years ago I started my own Escape Room company after playing a handful of games. I saw the opportunity to create a lucrative business in an area where there was an obvious lack of such businesses. At the time I was working a very well paid contractor job for the U.S.M.C. and could afford to take the plunge and open my own business. 6-months later I quit that job to focus solely on Cracked it! Escape Games LLC. When I started the business I knew absolutely nothing about running a business or designing and building escape games. The sole thing that drives me forward is Hustle, Work Ethic, and the Desire to Succeed. You have to get out and get after it. If theres one thing that I have learned in nearly 48 years on this earth is that nobody owes you a damn thing. If you want something in life you have to get up off your ass and make shit happen. Good luck!
